Accommodation
The Résidence Le Grand Bois** consists of two large mountain-style buildings with wooden façades and large balconies, served by a lift over 10 floors. Located in the heart of the pedestrian resort, it is just a few steps away from the cable car and the slopes, as well as the centre of La Tania via a footbridge.
All apartments have a flat-screen TV and a fully equipped kitchen. The living room has a sofa bed, complemented by a bedroom with single beds and, depending on the type, a cabin area with bunk beds. The bathroom and toilet are separate in most apartments. Balconies face east or west so you can enjoy the fresh air after skiing.
On site, you will have access to a ski locker per accommodation, raclette and fondue sets, and hairdryers. Additional extras: 4G Wi-Fi box, covered parking, baby equipment and pets allowed in some apartments.
The destination
Nestled between 1,350 and 2,740 metres above sea level, Courchevel La Tania offers direct access to the 3 Vallées ski area, one of the largest ski areas in the world with 600 kilometres of slopes and 347 connected runs.
- In winter, you can explore the Courchevel and Méribel areas with just two ski lifts. Downhill skiing, snowboarding, beginner areas, fun zones for children... there's something for everyone. For a change of pace, enjoy snowshoeing in the forest, dog sledding, snowmobiling, sledding, or visit the cinema and bars in the immediate vicinity of the residence.
- In summer, the mountains take on a different look. Hiking trails wind through the pine trees, and the slopes are perfect for mountain biking and family walks. Enjoy the fresh air, panoramic views of the peaks and outdoor activities such as tree climbing, trail running, paragliding or simply a picnic in the mountain pastures.
A few kilometres away, the Savoyard villages and surrounding valleys invite you to discover the local heritage: cheese dairies, markets, gourmet specialities such as fondue, raclette and tartiflette.
La Tania retains a warm and intimate atmosphere, with its pedestrianised resort on a human scale and its shops and restaurants just a stone's throw from the accommodation. A real haven for mountain holidays with family or friends.
